Welding auger flighting to the auger shaft.

While rotating the auger the left hand rubbed over the shaft end which had arrived in a poor condition from the manufacturer sharp unfinished edges. Laceration to left middle finger which required sutures. The underside of the left leather glove was partially cut through on 2 adjacent fingers as well. Middle finger cut through the glovesharp unfinished edges.
