The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment
which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to
cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees
were exposed to multiple injuries from using compressed air to clean
their clothing off:
(a)  Employee was observed using high pressure compressed
air from a nozzle for cleaning of his clothing,
exposing
himself to  a  high pressure air hazard, on or
about July 21, 1992.
THE ALLEGED VIOLATIONS BELOW (1a AND 1b) HAVE BEEN GROUPED BECAUSE
THEY INVOLVE SIMILAR OR RELATED HAZARDS THAT MAY INCREASE THE
POTENTIAL
FOR INJURY AND/OR ILLNESS.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is to use a hand brush or a vacuum system.
