Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to falling out of moving vehicle:
(a)  Intersection of dry kiln and storage area  -  An employee was not
wearing a seat belt while operating a 1967 International Load Star
truck, Serial Number 244055 106720, on or about 2/25/91.
Among other methods, some feasible and acceptable abatement
methods to correct this hazard include the following:
1.   Require each employee while on official business operating or
occupying a motor vehicle equipped with safety belts, or
otherwise required by Federal regulations to have safety
belts, to have the safety belt properly fastened at all times
while the vehicle is in motion.
2.   Employer should develop and implement a driver safety aware-
ness program  to  provide training  on  safe vehicle use for
employees who are expected to use motor vehicle(s) as part of
the their official work assignment(s).
