FREE FROM RECOGNIZED HAZARDS THAT WERE CAUSING OR LIKELY TO CAUSE DEATH
OR SERIOUS PHYSICAL HARM TO EMPLOYEES IN THAT EMPLOYEES WERE EXPOSED TO
POTENTIAL ELECTROCUTION:
A) M/V WESTWARD WIND: AT THE COMPRESSOR TO THE WALK-IN
FREEZER, THE COVER TO THE ELECTRICAL BOX SUPPLYING POWER
TO THE MOTOR WAS NOT IN PLACE, EXPOSING EMPLOYEES TO LIVE
ELECTRICAL PARTS.
AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO
CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO PUT A COVER ON THE ELECTRICAL BOX AND MAINTAIN
