PRODUCTS USING A TRUCK MOUNTED MONORAIL CRANE AT THE SHOP AND AT
VARIOUS INSTALLATION SITES  DUE TO THE LACK OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND
IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAM OF REGULAR DOCUMENTED INSPECTIONS AND
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ON THE EQUIPMENT AND NOT DETERMINING
AND ADEQUATELY INFORMING EMPLOYEES OF THE LIMITATIONS OF THE
EQUIPMENT.
ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD, AMONG
OTHERS, IS TO:
DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT A PROGRAM OF DESIGN, INSTALLATION, TESTING,
INSPECTION, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND TRAINING THAT
INCORPORATES ANSI B30.11 (MONORAIL SYSTEMS AND UNDERHUNG CRANES)
AND B30.16 (OVERHEAD HOISTS) AND THE COMPANY'S EXPERIENCE USING THE
EQUIPMENT.
