a) Construction Site -  Employee was observed riding on the out side of
the rubber tire
load for a distance of 1/2 mile up a dirt road.  Employee was exposed to
falling off and
being run over by the rear wheel.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to require the employee to walk behind the equipment or have the equipment
operator connect
the lifting device to the sewer manhole sections.
