Title 40.1-51.1(a), Code of Virginia:  Bay #'s 1 & 10 Globe
Hydraulic Automotive Lifts had locking devices which did not
operate automatically to hold said lifts in the fully extended
position, as required by ANSI/ALI B153.1-1990, Safety Requirements
for the Construction, Care, and Use of Automotive Lifts.  These two
(2) locking devices had a tendency to stick.
One feasible and useful method of abatement would be to clean said
locking devices so that they would operate as intended when the
lifts are in the fully extended position.
