Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to hazard of being struck by materials falling through holes in the wire cage material enclosing the overhead conveyors: (a)Assembly, Aisle by Paint Pack 1 Washer Area - The wire spill guard protecting the chair conveyor had holes in the bottom of the wire exposing employees walking in the aisle to the hazard of being struck by falling chairs. (b)Assembly, Aisle by Extrusion - The wire spill guard protecting the seat conveyor had holes in the side of the wire exposing employees walking in the aisle to the hazard of being struck by falling metal seat parts. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION IS TO INSTALL A STATIONARY DEVICE/MATERIAL OF SUFFICIENT STRENGTH AND CAPACITY TO CATCH, RETAIN, AND CONTAIN ANY FORESEEABLE SPILLAGE WHICH MIGHT CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY FROM A CONVEYOR PASSING OVER A WALKWAY, WORK SPACE, OR LIKE AREA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROTECTING THAT
