Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the Caribe Hilton second floor kitchen, there where observed two employees performing dish cleaning tasks on the dishwasher machine without trademark, while the machine gas extractor was out of order. Hazard: Gases inhalation. Among other correction methods, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to fix the dishwasher machine gas extractor. En la cocina del segundo piso del Hotel Caribe Hilton, se observaron dos empleados llevando a cabo tareas de limpieza de platos en maquina lava platos la cual no tenia marca, mientras la maquina tenia el extractor de gases fuera de servicio. Riesgo: Inhalacion de gases. Entre otros medios de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es arreglar el extractor de gases de la maquina lava platos.
