Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive serious injuries due to the discontinuity of the pressure of
the air supply.  At
the mixing area.  Employee working with Methylene Chloride, a 50 feet air
line
respirator were pinch by two doors.
Among other methods one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is to install an air line throw the wall.
a.  Recibir lesiones serias por la descontinuacion de la presion de aire
en el suplido de
aire.  En el area de mezclado empleado trabajando con Methylene Chloride
con una linea
de aire para el respirador de 50 pies de largo estaba pinchada por dos
puertas.
Entre otro metodo uno aceptable para corregir este riesgo es instalar una
linea de aire
atraves de la pared.
