On or about 3/21/00, a 50caustic soda drum (liquid) was stored on the
same pallet as
a 66sulfuric acid drum.
(b)  Location - Lower Level next to Cardboard Box Storage Area:
On or about 3/21/00, a 50caustic soda drum (liquid) was stored on the
same pallet as
a 66sulfuric acid drum.
(c)  Location - Lower Level adjacent to Battery Charging Area:
On or about 3/21/00, a 50caustic soda drum (liquid) was stored under a
leaking drain
pipe.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method for abatement is
to segregate
incompatible chemicals to prevent contact and reaction in the event of
container
breakage/spillage.
