Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the condition(s) listed below:
Monfort Wet Blue, Hwy. 287 North, Cactus, TX.  For the period of time up
to and including
10/22/99, the capacity of hoist beams were not stenciled on beams in
several areas throughout
the facility.  This exposed employees to injuries associated with falling
objects and/or machinery
equipment.
Feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard are:
Stenciling the capacity on the beams of the hoist.
Instances:
a)  Green de-flesher area, 2-ton hoist.
b)  Line de-flesher area, 2-ton hoist.
