Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a.)The employer did not ensure that employees wearing supplied air respirators had certified breathing air (grade level D). The employer did not conduct testing of the breathing air for over fifteen (15) months. These conditions exposed employees to possible injury , disease or illness (lung damage or disease, anoxia, carbon monoxide poisoning, cardiopulmonary distress and death). One possible method of abatement would be to frequently test and certify the breathing air to ensure employee protection. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION REQUIREDTION

Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a.)The employer did not ensure that the paint booth utilized by employees was free of defects and in good operational condition. The paint booth has large gaps in the door seals that prevent adequate negative pressure within the booth, exposing employees to the potential of overexposure to chromium and isocyanate containing paint fumes. One possible method of abatement would be to install the new paint booth. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION REQUIREDTION
