recognized hazards
which may cause death or serious physical harm to his employees and comply
with this
regulation and other occupational safety and health rules and regulations
promulgated under
Chapter 15 of Title 41, Code of Laws, State of South Carolina, 1976, as
amended, as
follows:
A.  The employer knew or should have known that employees who change out
totes of
Ridoline 120WN were exposed to the hazard of severe skin or eye burns or
blindness from
exposure to hydrofluoric acid.  A feasible and useful method to correct
this hazard among
other methods is to develop and implement a first aid treatment procedure
to include
directions on how to wash, treat and dress burns (including use of
zyphiran chloride as a first
aid topical), where to go for medical treatment, and direction to provided
the written first aid
procedure to the medical facility with the victim.
