Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a), Annotated Code of Maryland: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a)Date of Violation:03/24/00 Location:Parking Lot Equipment:Electric Clark Fork Lift Truck, Model #TM20 Condition:A wood pallet raised 8' to 10' on the forks of a fork lift truck was being used as a work platform, and was not secured to the forks or the lifting carriage. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
