Columbus McKinnon, 1 ton. located at blending area where it was used by
one employee
to pour additives from fifty five galons container, four hundred pounds.
The mechanic
was not inspected. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable
abatement method
to correct this hazard is to performed periodic  inspection as defined in
ANSI B.30,16-
1973, Sec. 16-2.2.1.3, pag. 15.
a.  Recibir heridas o fracturas debido a falla en el mecanismo electrico
de izar, marca
Columbus McKinnon, 1 Ton. localizado en el area de mezclado donde era
usado por un
empleado para vertir aditivos de un envase de 55 gals. de cuatrocientas
libras.
El
mecanismo de izar no estaba inspeccionado. Entre otros metodos, uno
aceptable y posible
de corregir es realizar inspecciones periodicas segun se define en ANSI

otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible de corregir es desarrollar un
procedimiento
adecuado para manejar los envases para evitar caiga en la pierna del
empleado.
