Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a: Cause serious injuries due to the lack of safety training related to the operation and maintenance of bakery equipment. An employee was working with a dough brake passing the dough between the cylinders, and the employee try to get out a piece of dough that was trapped between the cylinders with the machine running and his left arm was crushed between the cylinders. Among others methods one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to train the employees in the safe operation and maintenance of the bakery equipment.Reference to the ANZI Z 50.1-1994,and the operation Manual of the Dough brake. a: Causar lesiones serias relacionada con la falta de adiestramiento de seguridad relacionado con la operacion y mantenimiento del equipo de la panaderia. Un empleado estaba trabajando con una sobadora pasando la masa del pan entre los cilindros. Un pedazo de la masa se quedo pinchada entre los cilindros y el empleado trato de sacar el pedazo de masa con la maquina funcionando y su mano derecha quedo pillada entre los cilindros. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible de corregir este riesgo es adiestrar a los empleados en la operacion y mantenimiento seguro del equipo de la panaderia Referencia al ANSI Z50.1-1994 y el Manual de Operaciones de las Sobadoras.
