Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a), Annotated Code of Maryland: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:12/12/00 Condition:Roof trusses were not adequately braced to support the increased live load of roof trusses placed on the truss framework. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to have an Engineer design specification for the bracing of wood trusses when supporting construction loads.
