Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment or a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards in that employees were exposed to injury in the event that the overhead door was to fall. On June 4, 2001, the middle, automatic overhead door was in disrepair and was propped open with 2'x 4' wood braces. CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
