Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employee
was exposed to tipping and/or crushing hazards while operating a dump
truck:
a- Bayshore Recycling Corp., 75 Crows Mill Rd., Keasbey, NJ - On or about
10/7/02, an employee was operating a dump truck on a steep/narrow road
with the
hydraulics fully extended.  During this process the load shifted, causing
the truck to
tip over, trapping the employee inside.

Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to:
1) Use trained ground personnel to guide truck drivers while backing up
their
vehicles on this road/hill.
2) Install perimeter markings, stakes or warning signs on the sides of
steep
roads/hills that are clearly visible to all truck drivers using the road.
