Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1):  The employer did not furnish
employment and a place of
employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or
likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees:
The employer failed to ensure that employees were protected from falling
while working in a
snorklift at the following location:
a.On the North side of the project facing Spring Mountain Road at heights
greater
than 20 feet, two employees were working from the aerial lift without
wearing
a harness and lanyard.
Reference:  ANSI/SIA A92.4-1992.  Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platforms
Section 8.8(g):  Ensure all personnel in th platform are wearing fall
protection
devices and other safety gear as required at all times.
The employees had harnesses and lanyards available in their truck, but did
not used them.  One
feasible means of abatement is to train/retrain employees on the proper
wear and anchorage of
personal fall protection equipment in accordance with ANSI A92.5 and the
operators manual for
each lift before operating the lift.ting
