Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were working in a self propelled extendible boom aerial lift and were not utilizing an appropriate fall arrest system. Boyd St. Jobsite - Employee working from a self-propelled extendable boom aerial lift approximately 10 feet above grade was not utilizing fall protection. L & L Construction L.L.C. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard which was contained in inspection No. 305154759 Citation 1 Item 1 issued on 07/19/02 at a jobsite in Rock Falls, IL.
