A.R.S.23-403 (A): The employer did not furnish to each of his/her employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his/her employees by the lack of periodic inspections and maintenance procedures for automotive lifts, as recommended by the lifts' manufacturers. The Automotive Lift Institute, as well as the ANSI Standards (B 153.1), recommends that employers establish procedures for periodic inspections and maintenance of all automotive lifts to ensure its continued safe operation. a) 7611 W. Thomas Rd., Desert Sky Mall, Phoenix, AZ - Automotive Store # 6608: The employer failed to develop and implement procedures for the periodic inspection and preventive maintenance of the Rotary Lift, s/n 225419, automotive lift.
