Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a. At the jobsite, employees working from H&E Hi Lift, aerial lifts were exposed to an approximate 20 foot fall hazard in that the employees were not utilizing restraint devices while working from the inside of the aerial lift baskets. H&E HiLift, model 80HX+6, serial number 0300054142, and H&E HiLift, model 660SJ, serial number 0300054179. One means of feasible abatement would be to comply with the American National Standards Institute, ANSI A92.5-1992, Standard for Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platforms.
