The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment
which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely
to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that
employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on unprotected
elevated locations:
Trailer A3138P - On or about February 25, 2004, an employee
was not provided with fall protection while loading chickens
on the trailer roof twelve (12) feet above the ground.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method
to correct this hazard is to provide employees with fall
protection.
