Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were not adequately trained in the proper use of the body harness. Feasible means of abatement is to comply with ANSI Z359.1-1992 - American National Standard for Safety Requirements for Personal Fall Arrest Systems, Subsystems and Components. On or about November 4, 2003, an employee was observed using a body harness with D-ring and front strap not properly adjusted. CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
