Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the security stand area under construction, the employees were cleaning
the debris, near of
the protrusions of galvanized iron pipes.  The protrusions of the
galvanized iron pipes in the
ground level were not reinforcing.
Hazard: Impalement or stumble.
Among other correction methods, some feasible and acceptable methods to
correct are moved
the employees of this area and reinforce the protrusions of galvanized
iron pipes.
En el area de la caseta de seguridad en construccion, los empleados
estaban limpiando los
escombros cerca de protuberancias de tubos galvanizados de hierro.  Las
protuberancias de los
tubos galvanizados de hierro al nivel del suelo no tenian resguardo.
Riesgo: Empalamiento o tropezones.
Entre otros medios de correccion, algunos metodos factibles y aceptables
para corregir este
riesgo es mover los empleados del area y resguardar las protuberancias.
