P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by unsecured metal wall panels: A) Warehouse #7 - Employees use a designated walkway that leads past metal wall panels that are not completely secured and are regularly blown into the walkway, exposing the employees to the hazard of being struck by the wall panels. One feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to secure all sides of the corrugated metal wall panels to the interior framework of the building.
