Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the roof of the "Asilo Simonet" - the skylight located between and over
two adjacent roofs
did not have warning sign to advise fragile material, do not stand on it.
Employees pass near
to do chores at the roof.  The skylight measurements are:  37" wide, 24"
high on right side, 15"
high on left side, arc distance of 61".
Hazard:  Falls.
Among other  methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to place warning signs indicating "fragile material", "do not stand".
En el techo del Asilo Simonet - el tragaluz ubicado entre y sobre dos
techos adjacentes no tenia
los rotulos para avisar material fragil, no se pare sobre el.  Empleados
pasan cerca para realizar
tareas en el techo.  Las medidas del tragaluz son:  37" de ancho, 24" de
alto en el lado derecho,
15" de alto en el lado izquierdo, distancia del arco de 61".
Riesgo:  Caidas.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable de corregir este
riesgo es de colocar avisos
de advertencia indicando "material fragil", "no pararse".
