Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: On or about 8/13/04, at least three employees, who were working from on top of a stack of wood sheathing that was being elevated by the forks of a Sky Trak lift truck, were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 15 feet to the lower level. Among other methods: one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is the follow the manufacturer's requirements when elevating personnel.
