Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
Treasury Department - Bayamon, Colector's Office Administrator,
reception's area, and
the Human Resourcer Analyst's Office, third floor: There were observed
computer's and
phone's cables, at the floor. The employees were performed administratives
works, such
as: computer writing, answer phone calls, among others.
Hazard: Stumble and falls by cables.
Among others method, a feasible and aceptable to correct this hazard is,
to relocated o
take out the cables at the floor.

Se observo
que habian cables de terminales de computadora y de telefonos en el piso.
Los empleados
realizaban trabajos administrativos como: escribir en computadora,
contestar el telefono,
entre otros.
Riesgo: Tropezones y caidas con los cables.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es,
reubicar o sacar los cables del piso.s
