Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard from the articulating boom lift: (a) Rodeo Complex, Indiana, PA: On or about 10/7/04, employees were using a Genie Lift articulating boom and were not wearing fall protection. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means to abate this hazard is to require employees to wear fall protection (safety harnesses) when using an articulating boom.ulating
