Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:04/21/05 Location:Rooftop Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing techniques. Among others, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to install bracing in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI 1-03. That prior to the date of issuance hereof, R.H. Baker & Son Contruction, Inc. violated the standard, regulation, or section of the MOSH Act cited herein, for which the following citation(s) was/were issued and became final: 1. Item No. 1, Citation No. 1 of Case No. G4167 057-03, issued on 05/28/2003, resulting from inspection at Fairfield Drive, Lot 34, Denton, MD 21629 and became final on 06/19/03. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
