Rand RD-20 Rig #6 were exposed to an unsafe air mixture environment
resulting in an
explosion and fire causing injuries. The blowout preventer (BOP) had been
removed and
the well emitted natural gas vapors for approximately two (2) hours before
an attempt
was made to cap the well with a swedge fitting.
