were not rated as to their capacities:
a.Semco, Inc. located in Marion, OH:  On or about October 29, 2007, the
employer did
not ensure the under the hook lifting device used with the J-4 monorail
jib hoist located
in the furnace room of foundry #1 was labeled as to its capacity.  The
device is used to
move 70 to 80 pound mold weights from the top of the sand molds.
b.Semco, Inc. located in Marion, OH:  On or about October 29, 2007, the
employer did
not ensure the crucible carrier suspended by the monorail crane located in
the furnace
room of foundry #1 was labeled as to its capacity.  The device is used to
carry
approximately 400 pounds of molten metal crucible throughout the furnace
room.
c.Semco, Inc. located in Marion, OH:  On or about October 29, 2007, the
employer did
not ensure the crucible carrier suspended by the monorail crane located in
the furnace
room of foundry #2 was labeled as to its capacity.  The device is used to
carry
approximately 400 pounds of molten metal crucible throughout the furnace
room.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to ensure the
under the hook lifting devices are labeled according to ANSI B30.20 (2003)
In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required
for this violation
(using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition,
documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included
with your
certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to,
evidence of the purchase
or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement,
or other written

hoist ropes are seated properly on the drum prior to operation according
to ASME B30.16-2003.
