Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. The employees were exposed to serious injuries such as cuts or fractures due to falls occurred while using the toilet that was not stable. It was observed that instability or movement of the toilet because it was not fixed to the floor. It was documented that the toilet was moving when it was used by employees. Among other methods one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide fixed toilet in the floor. a. Los empleados estaban expuestos a recibir serias lesiones como cortaduras y fracturas debidas a caidas producidas al utilizar el inodoro que no estaba estable. Se observo que la inestabilidad o movimiento del inodoro era debido a que no estaba fijo al piso. Fue documentado que el inodoro se movia cuando era utilizado por los empleados. Entre otros metodos un metodo aceptable y posible de corregir este riesgo es: proveer un inodoro fijo en el piso.
