T.C.A. 50-3-105(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: The employer did not ensure that employees occupied areas of the vehicle that were designed for occupancy when the vehicle was in motion and use safety restraining devices such as safety belts when the vehicle was in motion. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to develop a policy, train employees on the policy, and enforce a policy that requires employees to ride in the cab and wear safety belts when the vehicle is in motion. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION REQUIREDTION
