Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The

were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed
to struck-by hazards while
hoisting materials:
a.In the Pickling Line Area, the  employer did not label the"C" hooks used
on the cranes to transport
steel coils throughout the area with the rated load capacity, thus
exposing employees to a struck-by
hazard.
b.In the Machine Shop Welding Area, the employer did not label the "S"
hook used on the crane to
move armatures and bearing cartridges from the storage area to the welding
table and back with the
rated load capacity, thus exposing employees to a struck-by hazard.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to affix data plates
to the "C" hooks and the "S" hook in accordance with ASME Standard B30.20,

Lifting Devices, Section 20-1.2.
