personnel performing

Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct
this hazard include,
but are not limited to: a) Ensure employees perform maintenance procedures
in accordance with
manufacturer's recommended procedures for the maintenance and repair of
the forklift. b)
Develop and implement safe work procedures for maintenance personnel.
These procedures may
include direction for safe working conditions and recognition of hazardous
maintenance
procedures to avoid when performing maintenance on forklifts. c) Provide
maintenance
employees training on manufacturer recommended maintenance procedures in
Spanish. d) Ensure
employees perform forklift maintenance in compliance with ASME B56.1-2000,
Safety Standard
for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks.d
