Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)The USA/490-AB/97-67 and DTRS 811342 containers were using for storage and dispatch merchandise un PF Stores Inc. The containers have 3.5 and 4 feet height from ground level respectively and did not have a platform or fixed stairs wich the employees used for access to the containers. The employees were observed performing dispatch and storage works. Hazard: fall. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is install a fixed stairs or ramp. a)Los vagones USA/490-AB/97-67 y DTRS 811342 eran utilizados para almacenar y despachar mercancia en PF Stores Inc. Los mismos tenian una altura de 3.5 y 4 pies respectivamente y no contaban con una plataforma o escalera fija para que los empleados accesaran al mismo. Los empleados realizaban su trabajos de despacho y almacenar mercancia. Riesgo: caidas. Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable es la colocacion de escaleras fijas o rampa."as
