Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: 301 South 12th St., Millville, NJ 08332 - Where point of operation guarding was not feasible, the employer had not developed and implemented a written safe distance program for all press brakes. On or about 02/01/08. One feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to develop and implement a safe distance program that conforms to the requirements of ANSI B11.3-1982, Paragraph 6.1.4.3 and OSHA Directive CPL 2-1.25. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
