(a)On or about 08/07/2008, automotive center, the two alignment lifts had
defective
plates on the drive-on rack which were unstable or unsecured causing the
vehicle
to shift and become unstable while being driven on or off or during repair
work
while on the the lifts.
ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR
THIS ITEM
Feasible abatement for this is to replace and/or secure the racks and
ensure through a preventive
maintenance program that the plates are inspected on a routine basis to
ensure they are in safe
condition.
