Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date Of Violation:08/15/08 Location:Roof Of House Condition:The employees erecting a metal plate connected wood truss roof assembly were not protected from roof collapse due to truss assembly failure. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to install the diagonal braces on three axis of the roof assembly as specified in the Truss Erection Plan supplied by the truss manufacturer.
