Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date Of Violation:08/15/08 Location:Roof Of House Condition:Employees erecting a metal plate connected wood truss roof assembly were not protected from roof collapse due to truss assembly failure where there were no internal or external diagonal braces. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install three axis diagonal bracing as specified in the Truss Erection Plan supplied by the truss manufacturer.
