Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-in-between hazards: At the worksite: On or about January 12, 2009, and at times prior thereto, the employer allowed employees to disassemble the lattice boom on a crawler type crane without following the recommended safe work practice for attachment assembly and disassembly. Employees were exposed to the type of hazards associated with struck-by and caught-in-between. Among others, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be to comply with
