Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Class IV laser cutters were not equipped with blocking screens or warning signs. a) Cut and Press area: The area where Class IV laser cutters are located was not controlled by the required signage. Additionally, the areas of the Class IV laser cutters were not equipped with a blocking screen system to prevent laser light from exiting the area. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
