(a)At the delivery site, where an employee was assisting a forklift
operator in
removing a 700 pound tank assembly from a flatbed truck on March 2,
2010.  The employee was standing adjacent to the tank assembly, exposing
him to falling objects while the truck was being off loaded.
A feasible abatement method, among others would be:  require employees
to vacate the unloading area once the employee has unsecured the cargo
from his/her truck and require employees not to enter the loading/unloading
area until all items have been loaded/unloaded to/from the transport
truck.
