Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about 08/02/2009, employees walking and working from a ball rolling conveyor were exposed to slip, trip, and fall hazards, at 3401 NW 67 Ave., Miami, Florida. Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard is to prohibit employees from conducting work from the top of ball rolling conveyors. PLEASE NOTE: DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
