Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the condition(s) listed below: On or about April 1, 2010, on Robinson Drilling Rig #3, located near the intersection of Highway 158 and FM 1788 in Midland, Texas, employees were not trained in the hazards of using an air winch and a sledge hammer on ball valves that were under approximately 3000 pounds of pressure. Among others, feasible means of abatement include insuring that all employees are properly trained to work with high pressure equipment.
