Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): Duties of employers. The employer failed to furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: The employer did not ensure that laundry bags were periodically inspected as follows: a.Located at the facility, a Wilengroep Dutch Conveyor System was installed to transport laundry to different parts of the plant. The laundry bags which houses the laundry linen was not inspected per manufacturer's specifications. Reference - Wilgengroup Dutch Conveyors/ECS Systems Manual System: D2 & 3-920, page 24 - 7.2.5 Maintenance graph for the other components, laundry bag (6 months). A feasible and acceptable abatement method would be to perform periodic maintenance as per the manufacturer's specifications.
